My specialist clinical interest is the treatment of chronically occluded coronary arteries and acute coronary syndromes. In addition, I perform left main stem angioplasty, rotablation, intravascular ultrasound and pressure wire. I have established a renal denervation service for members with drug resistant high blood pressure.
I qualified in Medicine from Leeds University before completing my research PhD and higher specialist cardiology training at Edinburgh University. I then trained in interventional cardiology in Toronto before taking up my post at the Freeman. My research interests are in quality improvement initiatives and hypertension.
